S’mores Protein Shake Recipe
June 9, 2016
Summer is right around the corner, so it’s no wonder Chef Geo created a protein shake celebrating the ever-popular s’mores flavor. His latest creative recipe will have you reminiscing about summer camp as a kid and ghost stories around the campfire. Plus, this s’mores protein shake is easy to make, using BPI Sports’ Best Protein™ powder as its base and packing over 35 grams of protein.
Are you ready to make this delicious masterpiece?
- 1 scoop BPI Sports’ Best Protein™ in s’mores flavor
- 8 oz. unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 8 drops liquid stevia
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips + a bit more for topping
- 1 Tbsp. coconut oil
- 2 large marshmallows
- A wooden skewer
- 2 large strawberries
- 1 scoop of Cool Whip whipped topping
Use a ceramic cup to melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil, stopping every 20 seconds to stir. Be careful to not overheat the chocolate. Next, pour the chocolate inside the serving glass as you turn. Then, place your cup in the freezer while you prepare the protein shake.
Use a blender to mix the BPI Sports Best Protein™ protein powder, almond milk, yogurt and liquid stevia.
Pour the mixture from the blender into your chocolate-coated glass. Next, add the whipped cream and some chocolate chips on top. Take the skewer, add one marshmallow, followed by a strawberry, another marshmallow and another strawberry. Set your oven to broil and place the assembled skewer to brown the marshmallow. Finally, add the skewer to your decorative glass, add melted chocolate for extra sweetness and enjoy!
