CrossFit is a highly debated and controversial topic in the fitness world. The great thing about this style of training is that you are accomplishing several goals at once, building strength, burning fat, increasing endurance and improving athleticism. All while in a group environment that promotes accountability and intensity. Since this style of training incorporates Olympic style power lifting it requires perfect form in order to avoid injury. The main problem with CrossFit is doing reps for time & kipping, typically anything done fast it usually not done in good form. Make sure to find a gym/box with a certified and qualified instructor.
