To perform a Dumbbell (DB) Flat Hammer Press, start by lying on your back on a flat bench. Bend your knees and place your feet on the bench as well. Holding a dumbbell in each hand, bend your elbows and keep your arms tucked close to your sides. Your palms should be facing each other. Push up, without locking your elbows at the top, and then slowly lower back down to the starting position. Do not let the dumbbells touch at the top of the motion.
