Approach the rack bar, placing it evenly across your posterior deltoids. Position your feet directly under the bar, slightly wider than shoulder-width apart and toes out at about a 20-degree angle. With an arched back and weight centered directly over your heels, sit back, lean forward slightly and shove your knees out to lower just below parallel.
