To perform a Barbell (BB) Step Up, start by standing in front of a stable bench or box. Pick up the barbell and place it over your shoulders into the back squat position. Place one foot on the bench and drive up through that foot to step up onto the bench, fully extending your leg. Pull your other leg up into a knee up then slowly lower your foot back to the ground. Alternate legs or perform 5 minutes with one leg and 5 minutes with the other.
