Former BPI Athlete Barbara Bolotte, who is also the owner of Clean Creations, healthy meals delivered, shares her recipe for one of her favorite side dishes, Sweet Potato & Cauliflower Mash, right in time for the holidays.
Sweet potatoes are a great source of fiber and potassium. Fiber is essential for helping control your appetite, burn fat, maintain healthy digestion and build muscle. Potassium is a mineral that plays a big role in muscle control, electrolyte balance and nerve function. Bodybuilders require more potassium due to their intense training sessions.
Bolotte says her Sweet Potato & Cauliflower Mash recipe is super creamy due to the low-fat buttermilk that she adds. Watch the full video or step-by-step directions.
