KEY INGREDIENTS
Fadogia Agrestis
Fadogia Agrestis, an herb native to Nigeria, is believed to have the ability to mimic and elevate luteinizing hormone (LH), a key component in the production of testosterone. LH stimulates the Leydig cells in the testes, ultimately leading to increased testosterone levels.
Tongkat Ali
Tongkat Ali, a well-known herbal supplement, has recently garnered significant attention online, with influencers, physicians, and scientists discussing its potential benefits. Scientific studies indicate that Tongkat Ali may have the ability to lower estrogen levels and modulate sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG). SHBG is a protein that binds to testosterone, thus limiting its availability. By potentially reducing SHBG levels, Tongkat Ali could release bound testosterone, raising the levels of free testosterone in the bloodstream. Increased free testosterone may lead to androgenic effects such as deepening of the voice, hair growth, enhanced masculinity, libido, energy, and dopamine production. However, it is crucial to note that further research is necessary to fully comprehend the effects and efficacy of Tongkat Ali.
Ashwaganda
Ashwagandha is a well-known herb that is commonly associated with stress reduction and relaxation. But, how does ashwagandha work exactly? Research suggests that ashwagandha can contribute to the regulation of cortisol, a hormone released in the body as a response to stress. Cortisol is responsible for a variety of physical responses to stress, such as voice changes, sweating, and hair loss. When cortisol is regulated and blocked from being secreted by the adrenal glands, the body can produce more sex hormones like pregnenolone and DHEA. This works because cortisol and sex hormones compete with each other, thus lowering cortisol levels allows more production of sex hormones. Our bodies experience stress daily, which can interfere with the production of testosterone and other sex hormones. However, ashwagandha can lower and block cortisol, allowing for increased production of DHEA and pregnenolone which result in higher testosterone levels.
Zinc
Zinc is an essential mineral that has been found to support various aspects of health. While commonly known for its immune-boosting properties, studies suggest that zinc may also play a role in reducing estrogen levels. Consistent zinc intake has been shown to contribute to estrogen regulation. This is important because while ingredients in certain products can increase testosterone levels through different pathways, it is necessary to control estrogen levels as well. By including zinc in the product formulation, it helps to balance hormone levels effectively.
